Nairobi of late feels like Dubai, Qatar and Egypt weather all combined!! The heat is outrageous! I keep getting constant headaches every evening because of walking around in the sun. If there's a way I could avoid it, I would it. But the sun is just there..following you everywhere you go...sigh!
Of course with weather change comes a change of clothes. You start shedding the wool and knits and trade them for linens and cottons. I love shopping...and I love checking out different fashion trends online (not to follow them religiously) but to keep up to date with the latest.
Here are a few of my favourites during this hot season...
You can never go wrong with shorts. Gives the legs more than enough air to breathe :)
Dresses. Whether a maxi dress or a short laid-back feel of a dress, they add a feminine touch to your look.
I think the Kaftan is one of the greatest inventions in fashion history ever!! They're comfy, and perfect to wear in the hot sun.
And when it comes to shoes...OPEN is the way to go. So sandals and wedges is the best option.
So go out, and remember...LESS is MORE! (in the summertime of course) :)
